Dayton Urgent Care hosts annual back to school drive by accepting gift cards
UPDATE: Dayton Urgent Care will be accepting accepting gift cards from the public that will then be used to purchase school supply items instead of collecting actual school supplies, according to Carson Tahoe Health.
Dayton Urgent Care is doing so in an effort to reduce/prevent any possible spread of COVID-19. Donors are asked to bring gift cards rather than items for a donation box.

With the new school year approaching, our schools, students, and families may be struggling with a variety of issues including school supplies. With new regulations and guidelines, acquiring these much needed items may prove difficult for families who are facing financial uncertainty.
Dayton Urgent Care is again providing a drop off location during business hours for the Back to School supply drive to help our families in need.
Items being requested are: scissors, pencils, individual box crayons (small boxes of 12, 24, etc) , binders (1, 2, and 3 inch measurements), dividers, composition notebooks, filler paper (college and wide rule), glue bottles and sticks, hand sanitizer, tissues, cleaning wipes, individual calculators, flash drives, graphing paper, rulers, Sharpies, dry erase markers, spiral notebooks, erasers, pens, index cards, colored pencils, and backpacks.
Dayton Urgent Care is located at 901 Medical Center Dr, Dayton. It is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you are a family in need of help, please contact your School Counselor at the end of August to find out how to be connected to the Resource Coordinator for assistance.
