Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Myllie
Happy Wednesday Carson City! You know what is especially patriotic? Dogs. Dogs are probably the most patriotic animal next to the Bald Eagle himself. And wouldn't you know it, it happens to be the Fourth of July this weekend! A perfect time to get yourself a new friend.
Meet Myllie. Myllie came to Humane Society in Carson City on June 24, 2020 as a stray found by Lyon County Animal services.
The Humane Society has no history on Myllie but what they have learned since her time there is that she is a big LOVE.
Myllie does take some time to warm up to strangers, she would do best in a quiet home where she can adjust to her new family. Myllie is an active pup, and would do best with an active family as well once she adjusts.
How she is around cats is not known at this time. She seems to do well with other dogs as long as she has a proper introduction and time to warm up, however, they noticed she likes males a little better than female doggos. Myllie would make a great addition to your family with time and patience.
Let's hear from Myllie herself!
"Hi there, I know I may be shy and take time to warm up, but once I do I am goofy and playful. I love playing with my human and then chilling by their side. Please give me time to trust and I promise I will repay you with endless amounts of love."
And I definitely believe it, just look at that big smile! You can visit Mylie and take her home by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City.
