Carson City deputies make felony warrant arrests for suspicion of fraud, third DUI
A Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a felony warrant alleging he obtained money by false pretenses and diverted construction funds, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Robert Lawson White, 46, also faces a misdemeanor warrant charge of contracting without a license and misdemeanor no proof of insurance and driving on a revoked Nevada license.
According to the arrest report, deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected to be involved in a property theft that happened June 18 at the Pick-n-Pull.
Deputies made contact with the driver, Robert White. He had no proof of insurance in the vehicle and did not have a driver’s license. A computer records check returned with a felony warrant out of Carson City Justice Court, the arrest report states.
The warrant was for obtaining money under false pretenses, diversion of funds, and engaging in business or submitting a bid without a license. The warrant was confirmed through dispatch and the man’s driver’s license returned as revoked. Bail: $26,359.

— A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday for a felony warrant alleging a third DUI, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
David Paul Larkin was arrested at 1 p.m. in the 3300 block of Harvard Drive. He also faces misdemeanor charges of driving without proof of insurance and failure to maintain a single lane, the arrest report states. Bail: $25,000.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man, Keith Clyde Miller, was arrested Friday, 1:23 a.m. in the 400 block of North Saliman Road for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued May 19, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 1;11 a.m. in the 1400 block of Como Street for a misdemeanor criminal contempt warrant issued May 10, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday, 6:06 p.m. in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road for misdemeanor suspicion of violation of a temporary protection order. Bail: $3,137.
— A 51-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Thursday, 10:39 a.m. for a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant issued in September 2016. Bail: $500.
— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 11:59 p.m. in the area of North Roop and Washington streets for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery. According to the arrest report, the man allegedly twisted the arms of the victim, pushed her head into a shelf, slammed the bedroom door which came off its hinges and landed on the victim and pushed the victim into a crib.
Deputies observed injuries to the woman: a hand print on her arm, red marks on her wrists an inch long, red marks across her neck, also about an inch long and a red mark and bump on the top of her head, according to the arrest report. The man told deputies that he was in a verbal altercation with his wife but that it never got physical. Bail: $3,137.
