Carson City deputies make arrests for disorderly conduct, drugs and DUI
A 37-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested Thursday for misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct and a violation of court monitoring supervision, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, the woman was in the 700 block of South Carson Street yelling that she had drugs on her and telling people she was going carjack their vehicles.
Dispatch advised the woman had recently been released from the Carson City Detention facility and was on court monitored supervision with an “obey all laws” clause.
She did not have an alcohol clause but was intoxicated in public, throwing items in the street and threatening motorists, the arrest report states. She provided a preliminary breath test of .138. She was verbally uncooperative with a deputy and was arrested at 9:17 a.m.
She fought with the officer, attempting to grab hold of the deputy’s duty belt after slipping her handcuffs. Bail: $742.
— An 18-year-old transient, Kameron Caleb Reyes, was arrested Thursday, 12:05 p.m. in the area of Old Clear Creek and South Carson Street for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, possession of marijuana under the age of 21 and drug paraphernalia. Bail: $4,374.
— A 37-year-old transient was booked into Thursday, 5 p.m. for a misdemeanor warrant issued June 11, 2018 out of Tahoe Township Court in Douglas County. He’s being held without bail where he will be returned to Douglas County.
— A 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 4:05 a.m. in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East for misdemeanor suspicion of DUI.
According to the arrest report, a deputy followed a vehicle going eastbound on Highway 50 near a casino.
The vehicle made a right turn into the west parking lot, then made a wide crossing into the opposite lane of the driveway, nearly running into a curb. The vehicle then swerved to overcorrect the turn and the officer thought it was going to crash. The vehicle then drove through the parking lot and came to a stop in a parking space on the east side of the casino
The deputy made contact with the driver and could smell an odor of alcohol n his breath.
The man submitted to a series of standardized field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He submitted to a preliminary breath test that showed he was over .08, the arrest report states. He taken into custody and jail where he voluntarily submitted to evidentiary breath tests with results of .138 and .123, the arrest report states. Bail: $1,137.
