Nevada’s Cody Martin drafted 36th overall by Charlotte Hornets
Nevada Wolf Pack guard/forward Cody Martin is headed back to his home state.
A Mocksville, North Carolina native, Martin was drafted 36th overall in the second round by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday.
Martin stuffed the stat sheet last season. He averaged 12.1 points on 50.5 percent shooting with 4.9 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. The lanky 6-foot-7 swingman ranked third in the Mountain West Conference in assists and fifth in steals per game.
