Lyon County Sheriff: Three jailed in burglary investigation, $100K in property stolen
Three people have been booked into Lyon County Jail for their alleged involvement in the April burglary of a residence and outbuildings in Yerington, according to Sheriff Brad Pope.
Crystal Jackson, Traivs Paulos-Ivanich and Richard Adams were booked as the three primary suspects in the burglary where investigators determined that more than $100,000 in property was stolen or destroyed.
According to a news release from Sheriff Pope, on April 15, 2024, a Lyon County Sheriff’s Office deputy assigned to Mason Valley, responded to a report of a major residential burglary of a residence and outbuildings located in Yerington.
The victim, who had plans of retiring to the residence in question in Yerington, was, over the course of several months, unknowingly victimized of nearly all of their personal belongings that the family had been storing on their property prior to their planned move to the area, according to the news release.
During April and May 2024, an in-depth investigation was completed, and three search warrants were sought, granted and executed, resulting in more than $45,000 in stolen property recovered, the release states.
During the investigation three primary suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Lyon County Jail on criminal charges of: Grand larceny, residential burglary, possession of stolen property, destruction of property and house breaking.
— Richard Adams was booked into Lyon County Jail May 1, 2024 on the following charges: grand larceny, possession of stolen property, residential burglary, destruction of property, house breaking.
Total bail amont: $87,620.
— Crystal Jackson was booked into Lyon County Jail on May 24, 2024 with drug possession charges from Yerington Police Department and was additionally booked on the following charges: Destruction of property, residential burglary, house breaking. Total amount bail: $37,670.
— Traivs Paulos-Ivanich was booked into the Lyon County Jail May 31, 2024 on the following charges: possession of stolen property and grand larceny. Total bail amount: $35,000.
