Carson City Ghost Walk returns for 27th year with spooky stories, history and lore
For the 27th year, the Carson City Ghost Walk returned to the capital city Saturday at McFadden Plaza.
The walk gave dozens of attendees an historical tour through Carson City’s west side with a touch of supernatural stories and sightings along the way.
Some of the stops on the tour included the Ormsby-Rosser House, the Ferris Mansion, the Edwards House and the Governor’s Mansion. Each location had its own spooky past to make for a fun-filled event.
“People who visit the walk get a deeper meaning and truth about the places here,” Ghost Walk Tour leader Madame Curry said. “It makes them more informed and we get to know a better meaning of our city and each other, which is really important.”
The tour had brief breaks to cool off with refreshments on a warm summer night. Participants also gathered around the Brewery Arts Center to dive into more ghost stories and rumors.
“I think it went great,” Madame Curry said. “One of the reasons we keep doing this is because we love Carson City and it’s fun to fall in love with the town and even share stories. We really tie it into history and explore this beautiful city.”
All tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the time of the event.
The dates and times of walks are as follows:
