Carson City arrests: Woman jailed for domestic battery
A 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday night for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to a Champion Street address at 10:55 p.m. The woman was upset with her boyfriend and allegedly slapped both of his ears and then threatened to stab herself with a knife. Deputies observed redness on both ears of the man.
The woman said she didn't remember if the argument turned physical but said that "it might have." She also told deputies that she had been prescribed Prozac but has not taken it because she doesn't like taking medications. She said she had been feeling suicidal lately. Bail: $3,127.
— An 83-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 3:52 p.m. in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway for misdemeanor suspicion of trespassing. Bail: $242.
— A 27-year-old Stagecoach man was arrested Wednesday, 5:45 a.m. in the area of Dan and Roop streets for a misdemeanor warrant out of Wells Justice Court and driving on a fictitious registration. Bail: $4,392.
