Carson City July 4 weekend celebration returns for 2021, organizers seek sponsors for fireworks show, carnival

Who is ready for a celebration? Nevad Rural Counties RSVP Program is ready to bring the 28th Annual 4th of July Celebration to Carson City, July 1-4 with a carnival, craft fair, and of course a fireworks show on the 4th of July.

Planning for the 2021 Fourth of July carnival and fireworks show, held annually at Mills Park in Carson City, has been in the work for months. Now with capacity restrictions lifted, organizers are hoping for a huge turnout for the Independence holiday weekend and are in need of sponsorships to help defray the costs.

Sponsors are needed. Those interested in sponsoring can, go here for more information. Sponsors can choose which package if they want to add it to their timeline.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, RSVP’s biggest fundraising efforts were canceled last year, along with all other carnival events the non-profit sponsors. However, with the return of summer events including the Mills Park celebration, RSVP is ready and hopeful for a great community turnout for the July 4 weekend.
