Carson City man booked on felony burglary, grand larceny warrant
A 37-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging burglary and grand larceny, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
John Henry Bennett was taken into custody at 8:45 a.m. The warrant was issued May 2, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $20,000.
In other arrests:
— A 26-year-old Oakland, Calif., man, James Edward Coleman, was booked into jail Thursday, 2:46 a.m. for a felony parole and probation warrant. He is being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
— A 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 5:52 a.m. in the 1900 block of North Carson Street for a misdemeanor failure to appear in traffic court warrant, driving with suspended registration and without a valid driver’s license.
According to the arrest report, a deputy performed a registration check on a Nissan min-van that returned as suspended. The deputy made a traffic stop. The man identified himself with a California driver’s license. The license, which was also expired, had a warrant for his arrest issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $814. A 52-year-old woman with him was also arrested for two failure to appear traffic warrants. Bail: $430.
— A Carson City man was booked into jail Wednesday, 6:30 a.m., for a failure to appear warrant issued out of Reno Township Court. Bail: $610.
