Carson City deputies make arrests for domestic battery, disorderly conduct
A 68 year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 10:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of Airport Road for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, the suspect was arrested after allegedly biting his female roommate in the forearm, then allegedly attempted to put her into a choke hold by grabbing her neck and face. The victim was able to call 911 for help.
Deputies observed a fresh, visible bite mark and redness on the woman's face and neck. The suspect was arrested. Bail: $3,137.
In other bookings: A 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 2:07 a.m. in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to an apartment where several subjects were arguing in the street.
The deputy ordered the subjects to sit on the ground when one of them ran. While a deputy detained the runner, the female suspect began to walk toward the officer and asked “what are you doing to my man?” according to the report.
The deputy ordered the woman to have a seat on the curb and stay back. She continued to walk toward the deputy and the officer again ordered her to sit down and not interfere with the investigation.
The suspect sat on the curb for a short time and began to yell aggressively at other females on scene. She was placed into handcuffs. She began to yell and told the man who ran “if you’re going to jail, I’m going with you,” the arrest report states. She was placed in the rear of the patrol vehicle where the deputy informed her that she needed to calm down to avoid going to jail.
When the deputy returned to the man who had run, the female suspect began kicking the rear of the patrol vehicle. The officer returned to his patrol vehicle and informed her that she did not need to go to jail and that he was giving her an opportunity to correct her behavior, according to the arrest report.
She stated that she would be willing to go to her esidence in a cab. The deputy had a cab respond to the location for the woman. She refused to get into the cab and began to yell at deputies saying they stole her property, the arrest report states. The arresting deputy told the woman he did not take her property. She continued to stand in the street and yell at deputies. She was arrested for disorderly conduct. She provided a preliminary breath test with a .252 result. Bail: $242.
