The Carson City Sheriff's Office Investigation Division is asking for the public's help in identifying suspects and accomplices in the theft of a cell phone belonging to a fast food employee.
On Saturday, April 25 at around 7 p.m. two couples entered a fast food restaurant in the 3100 block of Highway 50 East. One male, seen on video and who has since been identified, attempted to take a cell phone that belonged to an employee, said CCSO Detective Sam Hatley.
The phone was plugged in at the time when the male was seen trying to take the phone. Investigators have also identified the female who was with the male who attempted to steal the phone, said Detective Hatley.
A short time later, an unidentified female unplugged and stole the phone. The male she was with, who is seen on video talking on a cell phone, is also unidentified. All four then walked out of the restaurant, said Hatley.
