Carson City dispatch was able to contact a cab company and confirmed a driver had picked up a male from the location and was driving toward a north Carson Street grocery store. Other deputies went to area of the store to locate the cab driver.

Deputies met with the reporting party and got information, and confirmed the male suspect had left. Deputies asked the reporting party to provide a description of the male, which was confirmed and relayed over the radio as part of the search for the suspect, the report states.
