Miles Construction receives top honors at NNDA Pioneer Awards
Miles Construction’s president Bill Miles is the Northern Nevada Development Authority’s Pioneer of the Year, awarded at the Authority’s annual Pioneer Awards banquet last night in Carson City, Nevada, to recognize his efforts in improving the entire Sierra Nevada region. Miles Construction also received the Golden Hammer Award, in partnership with the Nevada Builder’s Alliance, for their work on the Multipurpose Athletic Center (MAC) in Carson City.
“This award is an honor for not only me, but the entire Miles team,” Miles said. “Our work in the community is a result of the passion our team has for this region and our success wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of our dedicated team members and the work of our subcontractors.”
The Pioneer Awards are held annually by the Northern Nevada Development Authority and recognize top businesses and their achievements in northern Nevada in areas such as entrepreneurship, innovation and community involvement.
