Municipal government offices in Carson City are operating on a two-delay, Carson City Deputy Emergency Manager Stacey Belt said, due to heavy local snowfall Friday morning.
The Carson City Clerk-Recorder's Office Election Department will be open Friday, the last day of candidate filing for the 2018 elections, Carson City Court Administrator Max Cortes said.
However, courts of the First Judicial District Carson City Justice and Municipal, as well as Juvenile Court are all closed Friday, she said.
Carson City's Juvenile Probation is also closed today along with the Carson City District Attorney's Office, Cortes said.
