Carson City Sheriff's office: Drunken pedestrian arrested for bail violation

A 60-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday at 11:25 p.m. near the intersection of N. Carson and E. Park streets for misdemeanor drunken pedestrian and a violation of bail conditions warrant out of Carson City Justice Court.
According to the arrest report, the suspect was observed by a Carson City Sheriff's deputy on patrol walking in a vehicle travel lane.
Upon making contact with the suspect, he opened his jacket and dropped a bottle on the ground. The bottle was later determined to be an alcoholic beverage, the
deputy said.
A wants and warrants check on the suspect returned with an active and confirmed warrant for violating his bail conditions. A partial preliminary breath test (PBT) yielded a result of 0.170 percent breath-alcohol content (BAC). Total bail: $3,072.
In other arrests:
— A 39-year-old transient man was arrested Thursday at 11:32 p.m. near the intersection of Carson and Park Street for misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence.
A CCSO deputy observed the suspect and two other subjects walking southbound on the Carson Street sidewalk when the suspect appeared to stumble into the roadway, a CCSO deputy said.
Deputies noticed he swayed while walking, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from him as well as slurred speech, the report stated.
A records check confirmed the suspect was under supervision of the Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing (DAS).
A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.136 percent. Bail: $1,000.
— A 37-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested Thursday at 5:22 a.m. following a routine traffic stop near Interstate 580 northbound and the Koontz Lane overpass on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant out of Douglas County, and on suspicion of basic speeding. Total bail: $497.
— A 28-year-old Carson City woman and Lyon County Jail inmate was transported and arrested Thursday at 12:15 p.m. on a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued by Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday at 7:08 p.m. near the intersection of East Long and Fall streets on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
