Diamond Peak at Lake Tahoe hosts annual Poker Run on March 12
Here's a chance to draw cards, win prizes and ski or ride while at Lake Tahoe's Diamond Peak this Saturday.
The Hyatt Regency is the sponsor of the fourth annual Poker Run at Diamond Peak Ski Resort set for Saturday, March 12. Skiers and boarders are urged to join in at Diamond Peak a day of fun on the mountain and and many a chance to win some great prizes.
In the Poker Run, participants are given a game card with clues leading to dealers who are located throughout the mountain. Participants ski or snowboard around to find the five dealers and choose one card from each dealer. After their poker hand is completed they return it to the base lodge. The participants with the top five poker hands will win a prize. Prizes are:
— 1st place - Weekend stay at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe plus 2 Diamond Peak lift tickets
— 2nd place- $200 Stillwater Spa Gift Certificate
— 3rd place- $100 Stillwater Spa Gift Certificate
— 4th place- $50 Hacienda Restaurant Certificate
— 5th place- Two Diamond Peak lift tickets
The event is from 10 to 2 p.m. Registration will be in front of the Skier Services Building starting at 9 and the entry fee is $10, which includes a commemorative T-shirt. The award ceremony will be at 2:30 p.m. There will be live music on the deck of the Base Lodge. The Poker Run is lots of fun for all ages.
