Douglas authorities seek suspect who stole pickup Valentine's Day at Tahoe casino parking lot
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who stole a vehicle from a casino parking lot in Stateline on the evening of Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.
During the evening, a white male adult is seen on Harrah’s Casino surveillance stealing a man’s jacket after he walked away from his chair. The keys to the man’s vehicle were inside the jacket pocket, according to a DCSO news release.
A short time later, the suspect male is seen walking through the Harrah’s parking lot. He walks to the victim’s gray Toyota Tacoma (California license plate 7G72891), enters it, and drives away, according to DCSO.
The suspect is of average height and build, and was last seen wearing a black beanie, an red and black 49ers jacket, and blue jeans. His face is obscured due to him wearing a face mask.
