Free screening of indie-film 'Lack of Cockery' Friday at the Brewery Arts Center
The Brewery Arts Center in Carson City is holding a special free screening of the indie-movie “Lack of Cockery,” written and directed by Josh Mitchell, this Friday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. in the BAC Performance Hall.
The film is about a venture capitalist who enlists a desperate indie singer to engage in a life swap with him. But when an unexpected female guest shows up at his door, he is forced to question his perspective on identity and love. The rest is a love story set against the music industry. Go here for an interview with the director.
Seating is limited and will be a first come first sever showing. The film, a dramatic comedy, is not rated. There is mild language but it does not contain sex or violence. There will also be a raffle for free copies of the DVD.
Soft drinks, bottled water and snacks will be sold at the snack bar. Proceeds to benefit all BAC programs.
