Brewery Arts Center debuts female version of 'The Odd Couple' beginning Friday
Step aside Felix and Oscar, Florence and Olive are in town! The female version of The Odd Couple opens February 14 at the Brewery Arts Center and runs 14-16 and 21-23 with doors opening at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday nights at doors at 1:30 pm on Sundays. Show at 7:30 pm and 2:00 pm.
The show provides a girls’ look at the infamous mismatched roommates, including a cast of outspoken female friends and two male, so Spanish, suitors. Set in the 80s, the play is a blast from the past filled with 80s references, music, and fashion.
The show is directed by Michon Chandler and stars Diana Marshall Jones (Olive), Rachelle Resnick (Florence), Diane Dye Hansen (Sylvie), Theresa Res Martin (Mickey), Katrina Olsen (Renee), Fredi Robin Springer (Vera), Sean Bridges (Jesus), and Kwaz (Manolo).
