Gregory Maytan presents free 'Music, Conversation, Wine, and Dessert' recital Feb. 7
The Carson City Symphony Association presents an intimate, elegant evening of Music, Conversation, Wine, and Dessert on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m., at a private home in Jacks Valley, south of Carson City. The recital will feature critically acclaimed violinist Gregory Maytan, who has appeared as concert soloist, chamber musician, and teacher in Europe, China, and the U.S.
The recital is a benefit for Dr. Maytan's recording of violin concertos by Ludwig van Beethoven and Swedish composer Amanda Maier with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. Accompanist at the recital is Pat Gardner. Guests also will receive one of Maytan's CD recordings.
Admission is free, donations welcome. Seating is limited, and reservations are required. For reservations, address, and directions, call the Symphony at 775-883-4154.
