Carson City sheriff's arrest log for Monday
The following are the most recent arrests made by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office: A 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Sunday, 3:22 p.m. at Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street for allegedly violating terms of her parole and probation agreement.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the store in reference to a report of subjects stealing items.
On scene it was learned one of those involved was a man who suspect Ashley Makara was not to be associating with per parole and probation terms, the arrest report states. Video surveillance showed the man exited a vehicle that Makara was driving. She is being held without bail on the felony charge pending a hearing.
In other arrests:
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 5:47 p.m. at Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street. He faces misdemeanor charges of obstructing and petit larceny. According to the arrest report, officers were called to the store to do a followup with Walmart asset protection regarding a man who had swapped price tags on some items and was attempting to pay for them. The man allegedly took tags off of two shirts and put them onto some electronic items and then went to the self check out line. Store security watched the self check out monitor and saw the electronic items ring up as shirts. When confronted the man would not give store security his receipt and would not give a Carson City sheriff’s deputy his name. Bail: $764.
