Carson City deputies make arrests for domestic battery, warrants and shots fired in dispute
A 48-year-old woman was arrested Sunday for suspicion of domestic battery, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
CCSO deputies investigated and interviewed both the husband and wife involved after paramedics were called to assist with the woman who reportedly had a panic attack and fell.
The woman, who told deputies she had fallen, had injuries sustained to her face and ankle. Deputies observed the woman's injuries sustained to her face and ankle were inconsistent with a fall, the report states.
She was asked if a physical or verbal altercation took place between she and her husband. She stated she hurt her ankle during a fall, stating "no, I fell that's all I have to tell you." She was asked if she would elaborate one the fall. She refused to talk about the situation, the report states.
The husband stated his wife slapped him on the left side of the face during an argument in the living room and that he went to another room to call paramedics for her panic attack. He said he went to the kitchen where he found her on the ground and said that while he attempted to call paramedics, she took the phone from his hands and called paramedics because she was having a panic attack, according to the report.
She was asked what happened after she slapped him. She stated "It doesn't matter. Whatever he says is right." When asked if she could elaborate on what happened, she said "no, it does not matter," the report states.
Based on information, evidence and admission from the woman, deputies determined that domestic battery occurred between the two and the woman was the primary aggressor in the altercation. She was taken to the hospital for medical clearance and to jail. Bail: $3,137.
