Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Drug busts made after warrants served

A 34 year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday night at 8:39 p.m. at a lodging business in the 2100 block of East William Street on felony drug possession after being picked up for an outstanding bench warrant, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported.

Michelle Lynette Harbour was taken into custody after Sheriff's deputies responded to the room she was staying in on a welfare check. Harbour had reported to Carson City Dispatch that her significant other was doing drugs and wanted to kill himself.

Deputies knocked on the door several times before Harbour had opened it. Officers heard the sounds of drawers slamming and windows opening after they had first knocked, the arrest report said.

Harbour finally answered the door and consented for deputies to enter the room. On observation, the room window was cracked open and the screen had bee removed, the report said.

A records check on Harbour was run through dispatch, which confirmed an active misdemeanor arrest warrant for failure to appear issued by the East Fork Justice Court in Douglas County.

She was detained in handcuffs at that point. A subsequent search of her belongings recovered multiple unused hypodermic needles, including a single syringe containing a brown substance believed to be a controlled substance, the report said.

Harbour was then transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Bail: $3,989.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman who answered the door at the residence. She at first denied Jensen was inside, the report said, but then said he was upon being questioned again.

Deputies were then allowed inside the residence, where they found Jensen hiding in a bedroom closet. He was detained in handcuffs and transported to the Carson City Jail.

During the booking process, an unidentified pill was found in the right front pocket of Jensen's shorts, the report said. The drug was identified as Levothyroxine Sodium, available only by prescription, which Jensen did not have.
