Carson City sheriff’s log: Deputies make shoplifting, warrant arrests
A Carson City woman was booked into jail Monday, 10:30 a.m. on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued Dec. 20, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. She was extradited to Carson City from Churchill County on the failure to appear charge. Bail: $10,000.
In other arrests:
— A 37-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday, 9 a.m. on a misdemeanor probation violation warrant, failure to report for substance abuse evaluation, issued April 10, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 5:49 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Roop Street on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Dec. 17, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 8:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. The man allegedly attempted to steal $12.42 in frozen food items at a grocery store. He was stopped by a story employee who had recognized him from previous thefts as he attempted to leave the store without paying.
The man was taken into custody. He had BAC of .159 and had $19 in cash in his pocket and wallet. Bail: $352.
