Nevada Day, Inc. board changes for 2024 announced, Jennell Peck to serve as president
The Nevada Day, Inc. Board of Directors has announced the retirement of its president and introduces new corporate officers for 2024.
Bobby Bean has held the volunteer position of President for the Nevada Day, Inc. Board of Directors since 2018. Bean, who is an agent with American Family Insurance, was a member on the board a total of 18 years and has donated countless hours ensuring the Nevada Day celebration went off without a hitch.
If you have ever been to the parade, you have seen him riding up and down the parade route on a golf cart making sure children are out of the roadway and the entries are moving at a safe pace.
“I’ve enjoyed my time as President of Nevada Day, Inc. but it’s time for me to watch the parade rather than work it,” Bean stated. “I love Carson City and it’s been my privilege to serve on the Board all these years.”
Stepping in as President of the Nevada Day, Inc. Board of Directors is Jennell Peck. Peck, a licensed mortgage broker and Originating Branch Manager with Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI), has been on the Board since 2021 and brings a fresh energy and vision to the organization.
Peck has served for one year as the vice president and three years as the Parade Director in charge of the line-up and flow of the parade. She has worked with many groups involved with the parade and the other events Nevada Day, Inc. handles, and has a solid understanding of the president’s position.
“The Nevada Day Parade is a tradition in Northern Nevada that means so much to so many people. I am proud to be a part of it.” Peck said. “It’s one of the best days of the year and we want to keep it that way. Parade day should be fun for everyone!”
The other Corporate Officers in charge of the 2024 Nevada Day, Inc. Board of Directors are Elizabeth Sevier as Vice President, Debi Durand as Treasurer and Krissy Vollersen as Secretary.
