Compassionate Friends Annual Candle Lighting Remembrance this Sunday
Please join us for our annual Worldwide Candlelight Vigil on Sunday, Dec. 10, 7 p.m. Time zones across the world will light their candles, creating a continuing wave of light to show our children that we will never forget them.
The Compassionate Friends is a grief group with over 700 chapters in the U.S dedicated to remembering children we have lost. We are open to parents, grandparents and siblings who have lost a child, grandchild or brother/sister.
In Carson City, Compassionate Friends will meet at a member's home, 1049 Ruby Lane, Carson City. At 6pm we will start our potluck and ornament exchange before the 7 p.m. candle lighting.
The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting is held the second Sunday of December at 7 p.m. For one hour local time around the globe. It commemorates and honors children, siblings, and grandchildren of all ages who have died from any cause and transcends all ethnic, cultural, religious, and political boundaries.
By holding an organized candle lighting service on the day of the Worldwide Candle Lighting, TCF Chapters lead the way in showing the unity that we have as an organization in remembering the lives of those precious children of this world who are no longer with us.
