Western Nevada College offers 5-day coding boot-camp for teens
The Continuing Education program offered by Western Nevada College is offering a 5-day computer coding program designed for middle- and high-school students, ages 8-17.
The coding boot camp will provide an introduction to coding, with a focus on HTML. Students will complete a coding project by the end of the week, and will receive a certificate of completion. The camp is August 5-9.
For students interested in technology as a career, this course serves as an introduction to coding languages and the opportunity for networking with like-minded peers and professionals. WNC's Coding Bootcamp is offered in collaboration with Alphalancers, LLC, a web design and development company based in Reno.
The camp will be held on the WNC campus in Carson City.
