Join Founder, Nichole Schembre (E-RYT200, CYT500, YACEP) for a 15-Hour Trauma Informed Yoga Training. A 2-day experience filled with open hearts, connection, and education taking place at YogaPod in South Reno.
Students will learn trauma theory including effects of the brain and body, teaching considerations when leading a trauma-informed yoga class, and science back approaches that have been used on thousands of students since 2019.
The training is equal parts trauma education and yoga teaching considerations, best practices, and WHY it is all so important when considering yoga as a form of healing modality for trauma recovery.
“My intention is to make this training accessible for all students so they can deepen their understanding of a trauma-informed yoga practice," said Nichole.
Learn trauma-informed language, movement accessibility for all bodies, considerations for all demographics and age groups.
This training is perfect for:
Yoga instructors, caretakers, school teachers, mental health professionals, medical practitioners, and any person looking for a mindful approach to stress management and emotional regulation.
“Through years of offering this form of practice across the county to those experiencing homelessness, violence, recovery, discrimination, disability, and loss - I have found that this healing modality is highly effective - especially when we are able to remove our ego from the teaching and focus on the needs of the student.” - Nichole
The ability to help our students find self-love, to forgive, to calm the mind, to sleep, manage anxiety and anger, and become more aware of what's going on in their bodies.
