Irish and Scottish folk duo Men of Worth to play BAC on St. Patrick's Day
The Brewery Arts Center, Carson City’s premiere epicenter for the arts since 1976, will present Men of Worth on Friday night, March 17 in the Black Box Theater.
Men of Worth was formed in 1986 by Scotsman Donnie Macdonald and Irishman James Keigher who came together to perform Irish and Scottish folk music, combining traditional and contemporary styles.
Together Men of Worth blend their voices with harmony and support their collection of songs with their varied selection of instruments. They have a very simple approach to their presentation, and in keeping with tradition, remain true to the music and story. Their show is a unique combination of humor, exciting tunes, and soulful, heartfelt ballads.
Men of Worth are an international act, and have earned much respect and success in over two decades of touring. Performing concerts, festivals, and having recorded eleven albums; Men of Worth continue the very tradition from which they evolved.
Friday, March 17 at 7pm in the Black Box Theater. Tickets are available for purchase at Breweryarts.org or in our Artisan Store. For more information or to purchase by phone, call the Brewery Arts Center office at 775-883-1976.
