Sunday movie at the Carson City Library features 'Suffragette'
Carson City Library will present the 2015 film “Suffragette”, on Sunday, February 21st, at 2:30 pm, in the Library’s Digitorium. Directed by Sarah Gavron, the all-star cast, including Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Brendan Gleeson, Anne-Marie Duff, and Meryl Streep star in a powerful drama, inspired by true events, about the women willing to lose everything in their fight for the growing Suffragette movement and obtaining the right to vote. This film, rated PG-13, is free and open to the public.
