The Brother Dan Show with Special Guest Dale Poune
On Monday, February 7, The Brother Dan Show will feature Dale Poune, local singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. When not touring and playing guitar with Lacy J. Dalton, Poune performs cover songs in local venues, and more recently, his own original music.
While some audiences know Dale as a country western picker, others know Dale as a smooth jazz and blues performer. His versatility will be on full display as host Brother Dan interviews him and they spontaneously make music together. Long-time viewers of the show will remember Dale from his previous appearance on the show in December of 2019.
Poune’s instruments include guitar, mandolin, ukulele, dobro, and bass. His previous playing credits include time with Buddy Miles, The Fortunes, Johnny Lee, David Frizzell, Marty Haggard, and Paulette Carlson. When he’s not performing, he spends his time teaching students at Play Your Own Music in Carson City.
Local music lovers (21 years of age and over) are invited to join the live audience at the Bank Saloon in Carson City, where the show runs from 4:30pm-6:30pm and they can enjoy the rotating menu of complimentary pizza and salad, courtesy of local Carson City restaurant (and show sponsor) Mangia Tutto.
Online audiences can watch live (with replays available on-demand) on Facebook at the host’s music page: Brother Dan Palmer. Please note that while the online show is family friendly and suitable for all ages, the live studio audience is limited to adults 21 and over.
The Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City, is housed in a building built in 1899 and features artwork from noted Nevada artists. It’s a great place to unwind, and the Brother Dan Show is a great way to kick off your week in a fun and friendly environment.
