State purchases Harley Davidson Financial Building in Carson City for $18.5 million

This is not the first time the financial building has been sold; in January 2021, an investment company out of Las Vegas initially purchased the property for $3.8 million.

Individuals anywhere from 9 to 90 are invited to attend this program, where they’ll be able to learn about 26 different opportunities for gaining life skills and helping others.
All volunteers will earn a computer after 48 hours of volunteering, and snacks and refreshments will be served. Free lunch Monday through Saturday at noon.

Thanks to NV Energy Foundation’s generous donation to Western Nevada College Foundation and the fundraising efforts of Carson City Chamber’s 2023 Leadership Institute, the college’s Veterans Resource Center has transformed into a home-away-from home for the college’s veterans with many new amenities and technology.
