Recently I have been receiving complaints about pick up trucks and trailers travelling along U.S. 50 towards the city landfill with loads of refuse that is not covered or secured. This creates an issue as debris is blown out of the back of the trucks and trailers and ends up in the travel lane or alongside the roadway.

In most cases this is unsightly at best however if larger items fall onto the road it can be a hazard that can lead to a vehicle crash. Add to this our typical afternoon winds and the lighter debris is blown all about the area.
