Sierra Lutheran High School sophomore Anton Granata took top honors at the Rotary Club of Carson City’s annual Youth Music Contest this week.

The Carson City School District is asking parents to mark their calendars for Monday, March 4, 2024, when all Pre-K, Kindergarten, new and returning student updates and registrations will begin. This year, in order to be admitted into kindergarten, all students MUST be 5-years-old on or before Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024.

The previously planned Carson City Local Road Funding Workshop scheduled for Saturday, March 2 has been rescheduled to March 23 due to pending inclement weather. We invite you to attend this rescheduled meeting as we continuing to explore financial options to fund local neighborhood road improvements and repairs throughout Carson City.
