Nick Jacques grew up with a passion for music. After a slight delay due to warm weather that was followed up over the weekend with light snow showers and much cooler conditions, Heavenly Mountain Resort at Lake Tahoe announced it will be open for skiing Tuesday, Nov. 21, with Northstar California to follow Thanksgiving day. Kirkwood Mountain Resort is scheduled for Dec. 1, conditions permitting.
