Tiffani Barber was diagnosed with Stage Four Glioblastoma brain cancer on Dec. 8, 2012. For those who did not know Tiffani, all she ever wanted to do was help people. She carried water and snacks in her car to give to the homeless and people less fortunate than her. It came as no surprise to the people closest to her, when the social worker that was assigned to her case went to Tiffani's hospital room and asked if she needed anything.

Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon and Storey Counties is currently recruiting for part time and full time AmeriCorps members to serve up to 12-month terms teaching financial literacy to children, teens and adults.

As a young mother hoping to create positive and lasting holiday memories for my daughter, I would book us for breakfast with Santa that usually took place in a large department store when we lived in Washington D.C and San Diego.

Bella is a three-and-a-half-year-old gal who was surrendered to us. She is very sweet and opens up to us more and more every day. She can start a little shy but loves to get pets once she feels comfortable.
