The new cases are:
• A female Douglas County resident in her 50’s with connection to a previously reported case.
• A male Douglas County resident in his 80’s with connection to a previously reported case.
• A male Carson City resident in his 50’s with no connection to a previously reported case.

— A 33-year-old transient man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly “walking around with throwing knives” while appearing to be under the influence.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office team includes some outstanding K9 Officers who make sure to keep the community safe through sniffing out drugs, taking down bad guys, tracking scents, and all around fighting the crime like only very good boys (and girls!) can.

The fire is reported to be behind the Ron Woods Center with multiple bushes and shrubbery on fire.
