The fire, reported to dispatch by the owner at about 1 a.m., was difficult to get to logistically, but firefighters were able to knock it down before it spread, said Carson City Batallion Chief Bob Charles. A tow truck with a flatbed was called in early this morning to remove the vehicle from the rugged terrain.
