End of season motor car rides at Nevada State Railroad Museum
Take the last public ride for the 2010 Motor Car Ride Season. Ride the motor car built by the Edwards Motor Car Company of Sanford, NC. that ran from 1926 to 1947 as the Tucson, Cornelia & Gila Bend No. 401 motor car. It shuttled people and supplies 43 miles between the Ajo copper mine and Gila Bend, AZ for a total of 783,000 miles in 17 years of service. Now it's your turn to travel in this historic car. Buy your tickets at the Wabuska Station of the Nevada State Railroad Museum. Cash only, no credit cards, please. Handicapped accessible, the motor car runs from 10am to 4pm, every half hour or so.
