Miller Counseling is partnering with Douglas Center for Hope and Healing to offer grief support groups to Carson City and the surrounding rural communities Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Miller Counseling and Wellness Center is located at 104 W. Telegraph St. in Carson City.

The Center for Hope and Healing has been providing grief support to Douglas County for the last 10 years. The goal of building this partnership is to make the free support groups available and easier to access to more members of the Northern Nevada community.

The raffle will highlight the Tin Cup Roundup fundraiser planned for Saturday, September 21 (5 to 8 pm). Proceeds from the raffle and the event will support the restoration of a 1967 Chevrolet pickup truck for the State Museum.
