The report includes median sales price and the number of home sales in the region. SNR obtains its information from the Northern Nevada Regional Multiple Listing Service.

Due to decreasing sunlight, increasing fuel moisture levels, and cooler evenings, the Carson City Fire Department has lifted fire restrictions as of Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023. Fire restrictions began July 28, 2023, on privately owned lands within Carson City.

The Carson City School District and Carson High School were pleased to commemorate Sept. 11 this past weekend with the assistance of Troop 341 and an Eagle Scout Project. Chandler Ricks, an eleventh graders at Sierra Lutheran High School, and his troop cleaned and repaired the 9/11 Memorial just outside the main entrance of Carson High.
