The Nevada Artists Association has announced the winners of the annual Nevada Day Show. This show will be on exhibit through Dec. 23 and features 166 entries by 73 local artists. After a wildly successful sold-out run of "Carrie: the Musical," Carson High School Theatre Arts is proud to announce that tickets are now on sale for our next main stage production. "Puffs (or, Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) One Act for Young Wizards."

For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs, who just happened to be there too!

Now in its 34th year of conducting classes to prepare future leaders to make a difference in Carson City, the 2024 Class of the Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute will join the list of 545 students graduated from the Chamber legacy program since 1989, many of whom have gone on to assume leadership roles in government or in their various businesses.

Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation reaching millions of Americans every year during the fall. By wearing red ribbons and participating in themed events, people pledge to live sober and healthier lives. The 2023 theme is "Be Kind to Your Mind. Live Drug Free."
