Two dead, driver in custody in crash late Tuesday on US-395 in Reno

Ermun Ervin Peter was booked Wednesday morning for two counts DUI causing death, two counts failure to render aid, failure to maintain a traffic lane and failure to report.

Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol division is investigating a crash where two vehicle passengers died late Tuesday on US-395 near the North McCarran exit in Reno. Impairment is suspected.

Champion brings home $500 in inaugural hot dog eating contest at MAX Casino in Carson City

Six contestants were randomly selected to participate in the contest. Individuals had to sign up as MAX rewards members and were placed into a lottery.
