Carson City responders investigating potential gas leak on Moses Street

Just after 2 p.m. Friday, a potential gas leak was reported in the 500 block of Moses Street in Carson City.
First responders are en route to the scene. Motorists and pedestrians should avoid the area while the investigation takes place.
Carson City Schools Foundation seeks donations for Funding Future Dreams Campaign

Nearly 400 students make Dean's List at Western Nevada College

To earn the academic distinction of being recognized on WNC’s Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 units during the semester and accumulate a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

The 82nd session and 35th special session of the Nevada Legislature closed the state budgets this week completing a historic legislative session for higher education and our campus. Several bills affecting higher education still await action by Governor Lombardo, and we will update you when he acts on this pending legislation.

Carson City emergency crews respond to vehicle crash into power poles at Roop and 5th
