No word yet on damage estimates from the storm. More rain is on the way Sunday, with the potential again for flooding, according to the National Weather Service in Reno, which has issued a Flood Watch Sunday afternoon through Monday evening.

Report of road ‘caving in’ near Post Office, Koontz and Silver Sage
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 06/10/2023 - 4:30pmJust before 4:30 p.m. Saturday reports came in that the road near Koontz and Silver Sage and near the Post Office appear to be “caving in” presumably due to flooding.
Motorists must avoid this area for their own safety.
