Carson High Football Hosts Beattie Alumni Bowl

This event is a chance for the alumni of the CHS Football team to come back and compete against the current CHS Football team in a no pads passing scrimmage.

This photo was taken in Sitka, Alaska and is currently for sale @ the Gallery through the "Just the Right Size Show" which ends June 16. This piece is on metal under acrylic and is quite impressive.

Western Nevada College brings manufacturing course to NDOC inmates in Carson City
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Thu, 05/11/2023 - 4:50pmIn early 2021, Maxwell Hurt-Lewis found himself homeless and jobless in Reno. “As a result, I was running amok. I was really living for nothing,” he said. “I was making irresponsible decisions that led me to prison.”
As he prepares for his release from the Nevada Department of Corrections this year, he’s hoping the skills he’s gained while incarcerated can help him avoid returning to that lifestyle.
Carson City's Fremont principal will spend night on school roof if students raise $10K

This event not only encourages physical fitness and teamwork amongst students, it will also raise funds to directly support the programs our Fremont community deserves and loves.
Construction underway for ‘Altair’ complex, buildings demolished on Stewart, William

The strip mall that once held Dubois Health Food Center, as well as the shops at the corner of Stewart and Washington, have all been torn down. The site also once housed the historic Virginia and Truckee Railroad engine shops, which were demolished in 1991.
