Carson City's Fremont principal will spend night on school roof if students raise $10K
Students at J.C. Fremont Elementary School in Carson City will participate in the Fremont Fun Run on May 17, 2023. This event not only encourages physical fitness and teamwork amongst students, it will also raise funds to directly support the programs our Fremont community deserves and loves.
Fremont PTA will use the funds to host the annual Sock Hop Dance, BINGO for Books, and Staff Appreciation; purchase classroom supplies, pay for assemblies and field trips, fund special classroom projects, and much more.
While Fremont PTA hopes to include community members in the future, this year’s Fremont Fun Run will be held at school during school hours and is only for Fremont students.
The Fremont Fun Run aims to raise $5,000. However, Fremont principal, Dr. Jennifer Ward, has pledged to spend the night on the roof of Fremont Elementary if the Fun Run raises $10,000! Anyone can contribute to the Fremont Fun Run via our e-fundraising platform: https://app.memberhub.gives/fremontfunrun23.
Fremont PTA has been fortunate to receive support from three local sponsors: Fitness for $10, Office Depot, and Southwest Gas. Fremont PTA and Fremont Elementary are grateful for all of the support from our sponsors and our donors. Thank you!
