Carson City Underwater Egg Hunt a celebration of warm weather at the Aquatic Center

The fun began at 2 p.m. with each group of pre-registered egg hunters given a 15 minute hunt session in both the big pool and the splash pool.
All prizes were donated by local businesses and pool enthusiasts, including large donations by Carson City Toyota and Roper Heating and Repair.
Motorcycle crash with injury reported at Highway 50 and Nye

Multiple units are responding to the area.
Motorists should avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 04/08/2023 - 10:56amFor the past ten years, the Greenhouse Project has been quietly expanding behind Carson High School while their mission has remained the same: producing food for those who might otherwise lack the access to fresh fruits and vegetables.
Between the two garden locations behind CHS and Carson-Tahoe Hospital, around 5,000 pounds of food were donated this past year to FISH, C.I.R.C.L.E.S., the Ron Wood Center, the Senior Center, and more.
