Carson City Sheriff's Office to host Winter 2022 Citizen Academy starting Feb. 16

The Carson City Sheriff's Office will be offering its Winter 2022 Citizen Academy this coming February.

This session will run 10 consecutive weeks from Wednesday, February 16th through Wednesday, April 20th. Classes will meet in the Ormsby Room located at 911 E Musser St.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office seeking public's assistance with burglary at Pacific Gas Station

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying persons involved in a burglary at Pacific Gas located at 1479 U.S. Highway 395 Gardnerville, Nevada.

All other leads have been exhausted and we are seeking the public’s assistance at this time.

Vehicle crash reported on Old Clear Creek and Vista Grande with injuries

At 12:40 p.m. a vehicle crash with injuries was reported in the area of Old Clear Creek and Vista Grande.

Two vehicles are involved and are blocking traffic.

There is at least one injury reported with an individual bleeding from the head.

Motorists should use caution in the area or seek alternate routes.
